The regulator 2nd stage is the mouthpiece you breathe from — it reduces intermediate pressure from your 1st stage to ambient pressure on demand, delivering air only when you inhale. Our 2nd stage range includes downstream demand valves (the standard safe-fail design), adjustable breathing resistance models that let you tune cracking effort for depth and personal preference, and venturi-assisted stages that use the flow of air to reduce breathing effort. Brands include Apeks, Aqualung, Mares and ScubaPro.
