• Recreational Focus: The "REC" stands for "Recreational." This BC is specifically designed for divers exploring open water, reefs, and less demanding environments, as opposed to the "Classic" version, which is built for harsh overhead (cave and wreck) diving.
• Lift Capacity: The STEALTH 2.0 REC BC provides 13 kg (29 lbs) of lift. This is ideal for recreational diving with one or two steel or aluminum cylinders.
• Single-Shell Construction: The most significant difference from the STEALTH 2.0 Classic is that the REC BC is a single-shell wing. This means the outer layer and the inner bladder are one integrated unit.
• Material: The wing is made from highly durable Cordura® 1100 dTEX, the same tough material used for the outer shell of the Classic version.
• Benefit: The single-shell design makes the wing lighter than its double-shell counterpart, which is an advantage for travel.
• Advanced Streamlined Shape: Despite being the recreational model, the REC BC shares the same advanced anatomical shape as the Classic version.
