Ultralight and Durable: The harness and backplate weigh approximately 3 lbs (1.4 kg). The backplate is constructed from a strong, aerospace-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy. The webbing is made of a stiff, abrasion-resistant polyamide that is resistant to water and wear.
"Next Generation" Harness: This anatomic harness is designed to improve diver trim, keeping you horizontal in the water, which can enhance stability, reduce drag, and improve gas consumption. It also makes getting in and out of the gear easier.
3D Mesh Padding: The backplate features 3D mesh padding that is comfortable and does not compress with depth, meaning it doesn't create positive buoyancy.
V-Shaped Crotch Strap: This design is more comfortable than a traditional single strap and adds to the stability of the system. It also includes two cargo D-rings for easier access to clipped-off gear.
Modular Weight System: The harness is compatible with a modular weight system, allowing for a capacity of 0 kg to 16 kg (35 lbs).
The primary difference between the Standard and Deluxe versions of the NX Series Ultralight Harness lies in the harness adjustments and padding:
Standard Version:
Features tri-gliders for adjusting the harness.
Does not include shoulder strap padding, giving it a more minimalist feel.
Deluxe Version:
Comes with ITW Nexus QR (quick-release) buckles on the shoulder straps for faster and easier donning and doffing.
Includes 3D mesh padding on the shoulder straps for added comfort.
Sizing:
The harness is available in two sizes, based on the diver's height:
Small (S): Recommended for divers under 175 cm (5'9") tall.
Large (L): Recommended for divers 175 cm (5'9") and taller.
