Key Features

GSM CUBE3 R2 is OCEAN REEF’s most versatile underwater communication unit. It supports three communication modes in one device: wireless ultrasonic, hardwired full‑duplex hands free (via cable to ALPHA PRO X DIVERS surface unit), and surface VHF interfacing.

The unit is a permanent wireless unit. Always on receiving mode for any communication on channel 1 frequency. PTT button activates wireless transmission on channel 1. Six-pin waterproof connection permits connecting and detaching from cable communication while underwater.

It can be connected to the ALPHA PRO X DIVERS surface unit for cable hardwired communication – full duplex, hands free communication.

GSM CUBE3 R2 can be connected to a separate unit in order to interface with a VHF radio and permit radio communication while on the surface.

Power: 9V alkaline battery only. User-replaceable. Observe polarity protection.
Mounting: Compatible with all OCEAN REEF IDMs; optimized for Space/Neptune masks via NACS.
Microphone: D‑Mic with hydrophobic membrane; designed to reduce exhalation bubble noise.
User controls/indications: PTT transmit button; call/receive via wireless; full-duplex when hardwired.
Environmental: Designed for immersion; rinse with fresh water after dives; avoid solvents and direct sunlight.

Customization

Upon request, the standard Six-pin waterproof connection can be replaced with a Marsh Marine connection.
