XDeep Crotch Strap Adapter for NX Series is designed for divers who, despite the benefits of the NX V-shaped crotch strap, prefer to use a traditional, single-piece crotch strap with their NX Series backplate. It essentially allows you to convert the NX split V-shaped crotch strap into a classic one-piece version. 

 

XDeep Crotch Strap Adapter for NX Series

Essentially, the adapter kit provides a bridge between the innovative NX backplate design and the more traditional single crotch strap, giving divers the flexibility to customize their harness setup to their exact preference.

  • Classic Crotch Strap: A single piece of 2" (50mm) webbing, typically 1.05m long, with a fixed D-ring at one end (for the back) and a movable D-ring and triglide at the other (for the front).

  • NX Series Adapter Plate/Bracket: This is the crucial component. It's a small aluminum plate or bracket that attaches to the lower part of the NX backplate (often using one of the lower holes). This adapter then provides a secure attachment point for the classic single crotch strap, allowing it to be adjusted.

  • Mounting Hardware: Includes bolts (sometimes different lengths for use with or without a single tank adapter), washers, and self-locking nuts for attaching the adapter plate to the backplate.
