The XDeep NX stainless steel backplate is the choice for divers who appreciate the superior ergonomics and modularity of the XDeep NX system but require significant inherent weight from their backplate to optimize their trim and reduce the need for external ballast. It's particularly popular among technical divers and those diving in colder waters. It is made from high-grade stainless steel, which is exceptionally durable and corrosion-resistant, making it ideal for continuous use in harsh marine environments. 

The "Ultralight" designation comes from its advanced material. It's typically constructed from an aerospace-grade aluminum and magnesium alloy. This specific alloy offers an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, allowing XDeep to create an incredibly light yet rigid backplate.

XDeep NX backplates are typically available in two sizes to accommodate different diver heights:

Size S (Short): Recommended for divers under approximately 175 cm (5'9").

Size L (Long): Recommended for divers over approximately 175 cm (5'9").
